Orlando Bloom shared an ensemble nomination The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring at the second annual Cosmique Movie Awards, and an ensemble win for The Two Towers at the third. That year, Orlando was also nominated for "Actor's Character You Would Most Like to be Intimate With" for his reprise as the elf Legolas, but lost to co-star Viggo Mortensen.
In 2003, Orlando Bloom reprised his role for the last time as the elf Legolas in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and also appeared in the summer blockbuster The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. In 2004, he will appear in Ned Kelly (which was already released internationally, but is not slated for a US release until March 2004), The Calcium Kid, Troy, and Haven. Orlando has also been signed to star in Ridley Scott's epic about the crusades, Kingdom of Heaven, as well as the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.
His character Legolas has always been a favorite among Cosmos, and it's not surprising that for The Return of the King he achieved a second nomination for Actor's Character You Would Most Like to be Intimate With (and came close to being nominated for Favorite Male Heroic Character). But although his performance in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was overshadowed by Johnny Depp's at most of the award shows, the Cosmos saw fit to nominated him for Best Supporting Actor for the film.
