With an astonishing seven films scheduled for release in 2004, Jude Law may suddenly be Hollywood's busiest actor. He first came to the MPAA's attention with The Talented Mr. Ripley, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his portrayal of Dickie Greenleaf, a character that the Cosmique Movie Academy later nominated for the Movie Character You Would Most Like to Meet. That same year, he received a Lifetime Achievement Cosmo for the Actor You Would Most Like to Have Sex With. In 2003, Jude Law received accolades (and an Oscar nomination) for his performance in Cold Mountain opposite Nicole Kidman. He also received two individual and one ensemble Cosmo nomination for the role. Despite appearing in six films in 2004, Jude Law did not achieve any individual nominations. Perhaps his performances split his votes? But he does share in the Best Ensemble nominations for Closer and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and the Sexiest Ensemble nominations for the former as well. Cosmique Movie Awards
