Though he is well known for his comedic performances in films such as Some Like It Hot and The Odd Couple, Jack Lemmon also has performed many significant serious roles as well, including The China Syndrome, Mass Appeal, and Tuesdays With Morrie. At the fourth annual awards, Jack Lemmon received a pair of Lifetime Achievement nominations: one for the Best Actor Hall of Fame, and the other for a special Best Comedic Actor Lifetime Achievement. At the fifth annual awards, he was once again nominated for the Best Actor Hall of Fame, which he won.
