At the first Cosmo Awards, Hilary Swank was nominated for - and won - a special Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Queer role for her performance in Boys Don't Cry. The role gave her a surprising first Academy Award, where she faced off against Annette Bening. This year, they face off again, only Swank is now the odds-on favorite despite some speculation that the Academy will be reluctant to give two Oscars for a woman barely 30 years old. They also face off at the Cosmos as well...but here, anything goes.
