Ellen Degeneres leant her vocal talents for the addle-minded fish Dory in the animated film Finding Nemo, helping the film secure six Cosmo nominations including three for herself. Interestingly enough, Cosmo voters seemed split on whether her role was a leading or supporting performance; she ended up joining Richard Gere and Scarlett Johansson as the only actors to be nominated in both categories for the same role in the same film. Oddly enough, she and Scarlett ended up both tying for Best Supporting Actress.
