In this comedic homage to zombie films, Shaun is trying to woo back his girlfriend, but first he needs to defeat an army of the undead.

 

Nominations

 

"Shaun of the Dead" pokes fun at the zombie classics (aficionados of the genre will recognize references to everything from "Dawn of the Dead" all the way up to "28 Days Later"). It's very cleverly done, though - better in my opinion than many of the slapstick parodies ("Spaceballs"???).

It's not exactly high art, but for what it is - a horror spoof - it's very satisfying.
