Win a Date With Tad Hamilton
|
When a country girl (Kate Bosworth) wins a date with a hunky celebrity actor (Josh Duhamel), her friend harboring a secret crush (Topher Grace) needs to figure out how to make his move or watch her go.
none
"Tad Hamilton" meets its audience's expectations adequately and never really defies the conventions of teen comedies, nor is it expected to. It's a sweet film and generally worth seeing for those who care for the teen romantic comedy genre. But it really doesn't offer anything unusual or special for those looking for something a bit more.
My Rating: 6
Now that the year is half-over, it's hard to see how "Tad Hamilton" will hold up against more robust comedies. Perhaps as a "Guilty Pleasure" choice, if such a category is indeed created (as is rumored). BUT...the ever-gorgeous Josh Duhamel could well squeak in a nomination for Actor's Character You'd Most Like to be Intimate With.
