Films hoping to be honored at the Fifth Annual Cosmique Movie Awards

Without another Lord of the Rings film to dominate in 2004, the field is wide open. Will another film step in to trounce its rivals?

More likely, nominations will probably be spread around more evenly, and most pundits doubt that any film will rival the record 26 nominations set by The Return of the King last year. But who knows? The year is only half over, and come Oscar season, a new favorite could emerge.

To recommend films I like (and dissuade watching the ones I didn't), and to "lobby" voters about what to consider come nomination time, here are profiles, ratings, and reviews of some of the films I've seen this year.
