Although much attention has been paid to Samantha Morton's performance, for which she received an Oscar nod as well as a Cosmo nomination, Sarah Bolger seems to be the real female lead of the film, and Cosmo voters also nominated her in the Best Actress category as well for Favorite Female Heroic Character.
