Jerry (Jason Biggs) is dealing with his free-spirited lover Amanda (Christina Ricci) while trying to make it big as a comedian through the assistance of his mentor (Woody Allen), though it's not always clear who's mentoring whom.

Though I am not one of Woody Allen's biggest fans, I did have high hopes for this film, particularly because the trailers looked great and Christina Ricci is always a delight. The movie does have some good lines (primarily delivered by Christina), but the film sags in several places. Not terrible, but not one of his best, either.
